Hi all
Here is my ugly olive tree. It has aprox. 12cm of trunk.
One main side of the branch is dead, so i ll cut it off or maybe i ll try some carvings.

Bogus,

Get that thing into better soil, and it will grow like crazy! They will pop new buds everywhere.

Here's mine:

Now, mine is huge.

But look at all the buds that pop:

I'm constantly having to remove extra buds I don't need!

The key: good, inorganic, well draining soil. Full sun, organic fertilizer.

Then stand back! You don't want to get in the way of the rapid growth!

Oh, your tree is amazing:rolleyes:
I am new in bonsai so i afraid loosing trees while repotting in wrong seasons. I know olive is so durable, and you advised it can be done these days. So i should prepare some good mixtures, thanks

Hello
Since my last post, i have changed its soil, and i have more green now. But still i don't have the branch i want from left side
I feel grafting is a little bit risky. I can try some carving with dremel and put that branch there from back side.
Or i will continue my prays

You can take a long shoot on your olive and use a thread graft or approach graft technique to put a limb where you want. Search on this site for those terms and you'll find lots of examples showing you how to accomplish this.

Fertilize well. Let the new shoots grow out strong. Until they are 40 to 50 centimeters long. Then cut back, HARD!!! To 5 or 6 centimeters!

You’ll get back budding!
