I had the opportunity to dig some huge olive stumps with some bonsai friends. This one took four of us to lift it into my truck.

He won't find out until he goes back to pick them up...:D:D

Nice bit of Olive stump there, I'm trying to talk my neighbour out of his front yard olive tree right now.

This thing must weigh 400 lbs. though. I built a box on a sort of rickshaw cart so I can move it around. Had to use a winch to lift it in. I dug it two wees ago and the foliage has already grown a couple of inches.
This is actually only 1/4 of the olive stump. We split it into quarters with wood splitting wedges and then pulled out the sections with a come-along after cutting the large roots. Mine is not even the biggest. My friend Sam A. has the largest. But then, if you read Golden Statements you know Sam likes big trees....
