Will be doing primary styling, wiring, and branch work on multiple trees this fall. Appreciate your opinions as thats the first time I start styling my trees.
Starting with this semicascade juniper.

Just finished this juniper and wondering if I over did the foliage reduction. Plan for it is foliage and apex going more to the right and keeping the 2 pads on the left much more compact. Not sure if autum was the perfect time for dead wood work, it peeled easily yet worried that the excessive dead wood and foliage removal might affect the tree.

Got only one back branch a bit high in the tree at the reda arrow. I see buds on the trunk shoukdni try to grow a back branch any lower ?

For your semi-cascade I'd suggest more movement in all your curves

Two more trees styled today. Wanted more motion in main trunk of this cascade but the trunk split at its middle which limited the motion i could add. I added one more thick wire fir more support and hoping it'll heal

And this juniper i got from nursery few months back. Will need to develop branches going to the right more, as well as a couple short pads to left to counter balance. Unfortunately had to pull a brqnch from the inside of the curve to.push to the right, hopefully will get branches on external curve to develop.and take away cutlrrent branch as it doesn't look nice coming from the inside.Screenshot_20201115-144619_Gallery.jpgScreenshot_20201115-144704_Gallery.jpgScreenshot_20201115-144716_Gallery.jpg

Hiyaa!

Sorry I missed this since the first. ...
But that's quite a bit of removal for fall.

This heavy pruning is better done when they start showing life in spring.

Work is work though. So good for that!

Yes realised that, a bit too late for the first few trees.i hope that won't kill them. Last tree o cleaned way less.

Side and back branches will be shortened after tree grows foliage, apex will also need few more branches

One more cedrus Lebanon that I have since few months..previous owner had styled in this large pad with a front small pad.
I'll be shifting the front so first pad is a left pad.also angled the branches going down as those trees go with snow weight and have an over all lean to the right branches counter balanced by left branches. Apex still has to grow and be styled as it fills up Screenshot_20201124-092606_Gallery.jpgScreenshot_20201124-092659_Gallery.jpg
