Orange Dream

I am looking to buy an Orange Dream Acer Palmatum, preferably 3 gallon or higher, from seed or layer cutting, no grafts please. I live in Asheville so within 2 hour drive would be nice. I will also be at the Winter Silhouette in December.

Can you find one at a nursery and make your own cuttings or air layers? If you find a good-sized one, you may be able to make several layers. Cultivars like ‘Orange Dream’ can’t be propagated as seedlings, so be careful to avoid any offers of a cultivar seedling...by definition they don’t exist.
