Another item I found on my door step. Has anyone ever worked with a pagoda holly?
It's a neat looking (little) bush. I didn't find much when I googled it besides it being a very slow grower. I have very little hope in this amounting to anything.
Sorry we STILL don't have Internet here so no pictures avalible.

Thanks for any info,
Kevin

No one has ever worked with or seen one of these as bonsai?
I guess maybe I'd be better off taking it out of the nursery pot and planting the way it's meant to be. A bush.

Your problem is that you're not using a specific species name or providing many details about the plant. "Pagoda" holly could be anything. Best bet is that it is Ilex crenata (which is sometimes called dwarf pagoda holly). it is a very common plant used for bonsai and by mallsai makers.
