Fun contest idea 👍
This tree was in the discount section at a landscaping nursery. I guess it was in the discount section because a portion of its top broke off? I got it this spring for less than 20 bucks and immediately reduced its root system and put it in a tiny pot. The original soil line was halfway up the trunk. I wasn't sure how it would respond, but it seemed to be happy this growing season and it is now showing its fall colors. Hopefully I can continue working with it in the coming years and will be sure to post updates here.

I picked up a paper bark two years ago and it’s barely grown. Maybe I’ll try a repot in the spring and see what happens. Mine was also a scape pile find.
