I had these for about 15 years. Been planning on building a small mountain scene out of them but haven't figured out how to cut them. Some of these can weight about 40 lbs. The first one weight at least 100.

Wet saw with a diamond blade. If you know what you're doing, you can rent one at Home Depot - though you will have to buy the blade and they aren't cheap. If you DON'T know what you're doing, find someone who does and offer them $$$ to cut your stone. I'll bet there are gemstone collectors or similar in your area who know someone who cuts geodes, etc.

hehehe... I consider myself a handyman if I have time but at the moment that is hard to find. I'll keep this in mind. Thanks BNut.

Yeah well I Googled "wet saw petrified wood" to post an image and I saw THIS:

....which is enough to give me nightmares for the next week! :eek: At least they are wearing ear plugs! :eek:

That first one is amazing. I don't think I'd cut that thing, it's art just sitting there.

Thanks Judy. That one is the biggest. I might have a place for it in my garden. Will see when I get around to it. Will update.
