I saw a Phoenix graft bougainvillea at our club meeting the other day. Very well done I thought. Will post pics when I get some.
I thought I might give it a try with an olive stump I have.
The stump was cut off a very large olive that was destroyed by a monsoon storm we had. I originally tried to reroot it but it was summer in Phoenix and It did not take. The top was cut flat so I have done some carving on it to soften the cut.
The olive is not a whip because the stump is very wide across. I am going to use a clump style olive I have that has a bit bigger trunk. Will post progress.
