Is there a way to post photos from ones computer (Mac) rather than from a url? I want to post pictures of my Japan trip and can't figure it out.

Just drag and drop pictures from your desktop into your message as you are creating it. Just drag an image and drop it wherever you would normally type your text. You should immediately have the option to post it as a thumbnail or full size.

The site will host your photos. You don't need to use an external URL (unless you want to).

Ahh I've got it now! I feel stupid because I haven't figured this out since the last big changes happened a year or so ago. I'll post lots more as soon as I get a chance. This was one of my favorite trees in the Taikan-ten exhibition in Kyoto a couple of weeks ago.
