Sad update and one I have put off giving.
I went away for the whole month of October for new job training and had tasked my girlfriend with the care of my Trident Maple. When I had come back, it was dead. The leaves were gone, and it was easy to just pull right out of the soil. The roots were gone. I'm not sure what she did. My swamp maple had also died in her care.
We live together, so it's not the shock of moving and since we're in Central Florida, it wasn't time for the leaves to drop.
I will try again at some point.
