To All:
I am a member of the Midwest Bonsai Society in Chicago.
Currently I have 8 pines ...all Scots or Mugos.
For 3 years all have been in good health.
It was exceptionally rainy here this year and now all have needle cast to some degree.
During past 2 weeks have applied Daconil [(Clorothalonil) weekly as recommended by many] though am aware that there are different types of this condition some of which require copper fungicides.
Lastly, I understand affected needles should be removed and destroyed.
I would appreciate any other advice for care concerning this condition.
Thank you.
Best regards,
D/D
