I thought we were talking about natural needle length, not needle length after a late decandling.
You know how it is around here; no discussion can remain on track for long unless, or until, it jumps the track and someone cares to put it back on track again after cleaning up the bodies left in it's wake. There are several cultivars of JWP with naturally short needles; Adcox Dwarf for one.

Looks rather ole a plucked chicken, no? Really, those needles are TOO short!


I completely understand what you're talking about. What could be done to increase the needle size a little bit? I would assume a High nitrogen fertilizer, or a repot would correct the short needle issue??

Dont be shy to correct me If I'm completely wrong lol
