Just thought I'd post a couple pics from our winter trip to So.Cal. The last few days we wound up in Death Valley, and it had been warm enough to actually go up into the high west side Panamints without too much snow difficulty. So here are a couple of pics from Wildrose Pk. 9000' off the valley floor. I'll post the non tree photos in the tea house if anyone is interested...

Someday you may be able to sit and take tea and other refreshments at that altitude whilst enjoying the Panorama,but today it looks unspoilt.
