I've kept all the branches except for the few causing structural issues.
Some others need to be removed, but first I want to have foliage to replace them, there are plenty of buds so next year should budback nicely and I cam reevaluate.
Pads in the pictures are not too defined as I didn't pull more needes than needed for wiring, but I've tried to make the tree flow to the left. Over time will compact the right side and extend where needed the left side.

Update (picture early spring)
Screenshot_20230630_151858_com.google.android.apps.photos.jpg

My in-laws forgot to water it for a week or more in early spring and several tips dried up and pushed new growth 6 weeks later than all my other sylvestris. It is looking healthy now but no work on it for this year except for slowly weakening some branches that need to be removed.

I am considering options for repot next spring, I like current slab but it is too thick in comparison with the trunk (aprox 7cm diameter):

Youzan 42x10cm

Yamaaki 42x8cm

I am inclined towards the Youzan due to the deeper brownish red and mor elegant feet... But like the height of the Yamaaki better... Opinions?
