I just want the little wood box...
Lol, the little boxes seem to take as long if not longer to make than the pots. I have a 12" Dewalt compound miter saw....cutting these little pieces take a lot of time and is kind of risky with my fingers so close to the blade.

The grain wraps all the way around the box, so one mistake cutting and the grain no longer matches up, basically I have one shot to cut the miter on each side, not to mention doing the dadoes on the inside.

I just wanted to say thank you to @Pitoon for the amazing mame pot, and the incredible box that accompanies it. They are both absolutely beautiful and crafted with true artistry. I wish him all the best in his endeavors.....these pots are wonderful, little, gems.
