Went to visit my sister in Atlanta for the weekend. Decided to go to Plant City Bonsai after a few members suggested it. Some pictures of their trees to follow. I would like to say the owner Steve and his wife were super nice people. Steve was a joy to speak with about the hobby and some different trees in his nursery. I would suggest to anyone within a few hours drive of Plant City Bonsai to stop in and check out his material. He has a ton of really great 30 year old procumbens nana. I myself purchased a few pots, a crabapple from California, Japanese Quince "Dragons Blood", Chinese Quince.

Here are a few trees that I purchased. The first is a crabapple. Not sure of the type. The next is a Japanese Quince "Dragonsblood". The last is a Chinese Quince.

Day trip to Plant City

My plan was to drive by Steve's place this month on the way south but you posted too many pictures. I have several trees from plant city, it seems to be an expensive place when I stop.

Beautiful trees...that Chinese quince seems to have a pretty impressive trunk...and the bark intrigued me. Steve was always wonderful to speak with over the phone. Glad to see you found your time there quite enjoyable. Thanks for the additional photos as well.
