Plant ID please

Sorry I don't know why the pic is being rotated.

My boyfriend bought me this bonsai from a garden centre,but the employees did not know what kind it was (what a great garden centre huh!)

Anyways I'm new to bonsai so I want to learn as much as I can. I figured the first step would be to ID it!

Ginseng ficus...probably grafted with "Green Isle/island" ficus

They are very easy to take care of and can be neglected other than the occasional (once to twice a week) watering.

That's odd. Looks like your boyfriend shops at the same place as this guy. It also looks like you 2 have the same camera. Kidding aside, welcome!

Lots of light and LITTLE water when inside (it can go out when the weather gets warm and will take more water).

Don't water to a schedule, only when the plant is dry. Place a chopstick or bamboo skewer in the soil, remove it and you can tell if water is needed.

Overwatering will cause root problems and harm or kill your plant.
