For some reason the cable company elected to use my yard as the hub for their fiber optic cables. There are dozens of cables crisscrossing the 20 yard swath they have easement. Those cables cost me a lot of money when I had to place my drainage culvert since my workers couldn't use equipment and had to dig by hand. When I asked the cable company to help me bundle them to tidy up things for the future they just laughed at me.
Well, I've planted lots of fast growing bamboo and green ash in the easement area. In a short five year period they are gonna have fun digging. I can't stop them from digging but they are obligated to restore landscape trees.
