In my opinion it looks over carved and contrived. Particularly on the view where the carving is front and center. The views where only part of the deadwood is shown look better to me. I think with some subtle carving of the Shari what @River's Edge is saying could be great.

The display table arrived and is beautiful! David does some really nice work! Here's a few views. I still have to do more fine wiring to lay the pads flat but just don't want to traumatize the tree any more after that crazy wintering situation.
