Does anyone know this type of tree? The leaves look almost exactly like an elm. When I took cutting of this tree I thought it was a willow. But Im thinking it's not. Can anyone tell by these cuttings with leaves?

The reason why I thought it was a willow was because I researched and came to a conclusion it was a willow by the bark and branch structure in the winter. Now the tree is full of leaves I dont think it is a willow. Could it be a hornbeam?

The bark looked similar to this I believe. This is not actual picture of bark.

I'd go with an Elm based on the leaf structure. The bases of the leaves seem staggered and not even. Also the leaves themselves are staggered apart. If memory serves Hornbeam leaves are in pairs.
