Please Help!!

Got a bonsai for my bday and it’s been looking good, but living in Florida it rained consecutive days, now my bonsai looks like this. It’s a Green Mound Juniper. Is it dead, dying? Can it be saved??? Please help.

I am very sorry to tell you but it is very likely that it is dead. Junipers have a very delayed effect when it comes to death. Meaning, most likely, it wasn't the rain that did it in. In fact, it may have been something that happened even before it came into your care. You could let it go and see if it shows any signs of life but once it goes brittle and brown like that it's not a good sign. It is possible that it might try to push new buds. Without knowing more it's speculating really. Again, very sorry about the tree but happy birthday all the same!

Yes it is bad. In 4th photo trunk skin is not smooth, It has that wavy pattern that branches have when they are dry out. Also soil looks so loose in the outter side of the pot and packed near the trunk, like it has been repotted not long ago, and it was too soon to use that blue fertilizer. Just guessing.

Don't quit on us!
Most of us killed our first tree. Hell, I killed my first half dozen. If it was for the knowledge that I just sucked at it I totally would've given up. Sucking at something is the first step in not sucking, so I kept at it, and now I suck a little less.

Where's that tree in your yard you've been trying to kill for years? Good chance it'll make an alright bonsai. Go dig it up!
