That’s SO interesting!!!!
Do you have any of his work?
My bad...it was the "Cotton Bailer" paper. There was a Trail Blazer I believe, my memory is terrible,
but I still remember 2 girl friends phone numbers from the early 80's, probably rotary dial at that.
Obviously his photo albums are quite old and delicate.
One of my favourite pics is of him on the Vitalis Nacht monument
which no longer stands I find when I do a search for it.
Not sure where he procured his pictures of Hitler but has a couple in there not pictured here.
I doubt he took them. One in his Mercedes.

My....LORD! That is incredible..

I mean... the first monument shot!.... That carved scale model!....... The armaments in the corner shot is particularly endearing.. in the darkest manner... I like that.
The lives! Documented... the fabrication teams!!! 😍

The castle shots!!!!! *gasps out like a Belle an’faints*

Thank you SOOOO much for sharing.

It's probably a canoe killer.

Now visible.

Sorce
Buy aluminum canoes! They live through almost anything and repair/resurrect from anything that does happen!!

source: we’ve owned probably a thousand in the last 50 years and the only “dead” ones are from hurricanes and lost trailers. Maybe 10? We have 263 on hand, and shopping to buy 30 more. Price jumped though! Looking at 40k for 30 new! Anyone got aluminum canoes in FL? I may come buy them! I buy used as well as the new!

Thats best I could do steadying camera on my wife's head fully zoomed out then cropped down 50%.
Will get the tripod out but it's dinner time now and will lose the colour soon.
Gotta get the lines in there.
Thanks for the computer screen background shot to add to my planet series. Great Shot!

I’m absolutely speechless at the caliber of art you presented.. all i can muster is, “nicely done!”.... *still in awe*

Also... nice frackin’ Midget!!!

I used to have a green TR-7 i was working on... the guy I “bought” it from had an MG just like that, but red.... he also had a few more Triumphs.. and a Karma Ghia (sp?).. that he REFUSED to show me...

He was a transplant here... said he missed the rain.

Thank you for sharing this.

(I also wanna know more of HeavilyArmored Offensive vehicle recycling)

Well it's fuzzy. It was rather humid with a hazy sky and used my wife's head to steady
an otherwise freehand shot at 46X (DIGITAL CRAP) zoom, ugh.
I hope to buy a good zoom lens before I retire and trip to Alaska.
Got the lousy tripod set up in the grass around 11 last night and I don't know my wife's camera at all.
Spent several minutes trying to figure out how to get it out of macro mode. Gave it to her and it disapperaed
but no idea why.

Some Independence Day fishing.
You know its a decent size Bluegill when you can fit your thumb in its mouth.
20200704_100131.jpg

A beautifully colored Green Sunfish.
20200704_071302.jpg

And a decent sized Greenie was the first catch of the morning.
Had to use flash on this guy....but nice colors, orange fins.
The rest of the fish weren't picture worthy.

Hi

I've never had the Midget on the road as it needs some welding, My left knee got bad and needed replacing, I got a bit done beforehand but it became too painful!, I then had to have the other replaced as it was doing all the work due to pain in the left one!, My son wants the Midget now so really, I have to get it out and carry on with the work, It's one of the rubber bumper (fender) models, They're going down the dump, I'm hoping to get some 3" diameter stainless steel ones made up to replace them, Or go bumperless but the suspension will need dropping then as the car raises up when those horrible big lumps of rubber reinforced with 1/4"steel plate are removed, They weigh in heavy!!

Colin in the Tank pic is my aunt's brother in law (Or was, Her hubby died years ago), He was a burner at a scrap yard, They reduced loads of decomissioned Military tracked vehicles for recycling, He told me he'd be burning through a part when there would be a bang!, A stray bullet that was dropped inside and lodged out of sight suddenly went off due to the heat from the Oxy Propane cutter!!:eek:😂

Colin is the big lad at the rear!

Here's another art piece from my works, A local artist was commissioned to make this image of Pan, He actually had an, er, you could tell it was male but a customer complained so he was emasculated! ☹(They wouldn't play around with Michelangelo's 'David' in such a way 😡 )

From memory, The cost was £16,000, Have to say, I love it but it was spoilt when part of it was removed 😠
