I would have loved to attend this but had to be in Texas. Looking at the sign up sheet gave me a bit of sticker shock as well, but this isn't the cheapest hobby around and I bet such a conference would be beneficial. It's $260 bucks for the later registration and that lets you watch demos and see an exhibit and lets you sign up for the workshops which range from $125-$300. I can understand why workshops are so expensive because they are very limited in attendance and it's hands on practice (right?). Maybe next year...
I'd like to hear more about the experience as well if anyone is willing to share.
