Hello,

I'm new to bonsai but I think the 2 medium sized Poinsettia's I've been keeping for over 2 years, may have some potential to become bonsai.
After reading online, it is possible. So I wanted to show them to guys and see what you think about their potential.
I have literally not touched them in 2 years, no pruning. Only repotting twice, in to just plain soil/compost.
This link to an album of some pics of them:

Here is one pic of each of them, for those who cannot use the link.

Smaller one:

I'm not expecting anything from them, as I never intended to or maintained them in such a way to become anything. So I'm interested to see if there is any potential here :). Feel free to refer to them as green pot and grey pot.

Any opinions welcome.

Grey pot.....
I had a dream last night I went on a trip to either Michigan or Wisconsin.
As soon as I got out the car, there was an alien.

WTF!

Maybe cut the flowers off for the next few years to see if it will help you build trunk.

Or slap them together soon to try and fuse them.

Either way...it could be a long road.
With great scenery in the end!

Just watch out for Greys!

Crop circles!

Flowers @sorce ? There are only leaves that have ever come out of it, red and green.
I don't mind the trunk size, its not much but its ok. Just wanted to know what can be done to it...

I would rather keep as 2 plants to be honest, but its a nice idea :).
Whats an accent @JoeR ?
