Has anyone used hardy orange (Poncirus trifoliata) in a bonsai? It's an intriguing looking plant, and some even as small as 6' produce fruit that looks good. I've seen many plants in places where constant traffic from cattle have produced interesting examples. I just wonder if it's worth the trouble (and potential pain - thorns are long, strong and sharp) to try to collect some and work with them.
