I got this ponderosa from Jim Doyle at a workshop in the spring. It put on some good growth through the summer and it was wired and got its initial stying n October. I’d like to find a pot for it, even though it probably won’t be it’s final pot. In the photos I have it standing more upright but the roots are actually up the trunk a few inches..where the line is. I think it would still look good laid horizontal a little if I change my front view a bit. Any comments of suggestions are appreciated ..thanks

I think it’s come along nicely..a little backbudding...new needles cane in a little shorter ..
I really like how you repositioned it in the pot. Did you wait for the new buds to grow out before repot?

That’s great! I’m planning on repotting mine as well later this month or early March. It’s been 2 years since collection, and it had new growth last year so I think it’s safe now.
