Any chance someon might know what this is? I don't remember picking it but it would have been local so its something that can handle the cold.
I thought it might be a catalpa but google images doesn't match

I am rooting some cuttings from from mine in Texas. I have both red and yellow ones. Never tried the seeds but the pods are everywhere in fall. My vines are 18 years old and get some great movement and bark on them

I always meant to dig a sucker but never got around to it and I'm pretty sure my uncle ripped the vine out once gramma went to the nursing home.
Hopefully the seeds germinate, its a red one and I can give seedlings to family
