I have a local Potter who has taken me under her wing and gives me access to her studio. She's great. She also just scored me a free electric kiln. But I need another 220 box installed into my circut breaker. Figures the plug end is different than my dryer. Cant ever have things work out the easy way

I don’t know what kind of plug you have for the kiln but you might want to do a search for an adapter between the two. I did a quick search for dryer plug adapters, several items came up.
