I would keep it indoors for a few weeks so all water can evaporate out. Then I’d run it through a bisque firing In a kiln. Bisque firings by nature are preheated low and slow, the temperature will not come close to affecting anything that’s already been high fired. The best would be if you had a kiln you could devote solely to this (and any other pots you’ve got that have oil inside them). Then you wouldn’t even have to fire it to bisque temps. Just get it up to maybe 800*F and hold it there for an hour or so and shut it off.
