I used to do this all the time by drilling holes around the pot and tying it down...it’s called lst or low stress training when done for herbals worked out extraordinarily well as @ml_work said i too wish I thought of this and patented it lol...I believe it would work extremely well for smaller shonin, mame

I bought few (the company actually resides in Austria which is next to my country). Planning to try them in the spring. They look quite sturdy and durable (for plastic that is).

Just to suggest a possible alternative..I believe I can get the same success from my 50 cent Goodwill colanders with myriad holes/tie down options...
& my trees have a surrealist kitchen landscape motif
