If these were in the ground for four years, did you do a trunk chop on year two?

The trees were pruned hard every year. The last two years they were cut like a hedge during the growing season with a gas powered trimmer !

Did u pre trim roots.?

How long before harvest did u trim ?

No root trimming. only with a shovel in early spring

did you leave the tap root and just dig around the edges for tighter roots? b/c thats some pretty good trunk growth in 4 years.
