Can anyone offer a possible diagnosis of my oak tree. Is this rust? How should I treat this? Every leaf on the tree looks like this. And the tree continues to put out new growth. This is also only happening with this particular tree. ( no other oaks in the nursery)

What fertilizer are you using? Perhaps a sort of deficiency? Mg perhaps?

I use various fertilizers including miracle grow organic, Dr Earth organic as well as Micro Total for minerals including Mg. I admit that I may be a little light with my frequency of fertilizing. Thanks for your input.

I think someone has been spraying herbicide and some wafted onto your tree.

Maybe it was atrazine. It is a commonly used broadleaf weed killer.

Add location, at least USDA zone at minimum. A location can go a long way. For instance Virginia and Florida both have live oaks but problems could be very different.

Medina,NY between Buffalo and Rochester: I’m not sure how to add that to my profile.
Up at the top next to the icon that looks like an envelope. There is a greenish J click it then click account details. You can fill in all kinds of stuff. Honestly I don’t think most people care except for location for trees.
