I had the great pleasure of obtaining this healthy and ready for anything Juniper today, from a fellow B-Nutter and his wonderful wife! Shout out, @Japonicus, Thanks again!

There's a lot going on with this tree.
Very snakey trunk line going all over the place.
My main goal for this year is to Half Bare Root it, because it has a very compact and dense rootball....3 gallon bucket.

One picture there has a Rolling Rock for size reference.

The spot where the main trunk goes up and back down to the end, looks like a good spot for an air layer in the future, to make a Cascade tree....and then the rest can be assessed after separation.
This is my tentative plan....
2021- HBR one side, maybe some selective branch removal to lighten it up, as its very top heavy.
2022- HBR second side.
2023- Air layer the Cascading branch at the end in spring....insulate over winter.
2024- Remove air layer in mid-summer and begin styling whats left below.

It fills up my tiny unfinished tokonoma!

That's a unique tree for sure. Did you think about putting some heavy wire to bring the turns in tighter to make the tree more compact?

I’m sure whatever you do it will be better than taking up space In my yard.
I was hoping the size and goose neck would overcome what weakness
it’s exhibits. I never took any measurements on it , how long x wide is it?

lit was good to meet you too Mike! Too bad Meehans was closed Sunday.
Would’ve been a better meetup given the Dads Day meet n greet n boot scoot. She is a most precious jewel! My wife is my life 😁

Yeah! Gotta get back to Meehan's some day!
I didn't measure it either, but its probably close to a 4 foot wide spread of green there.
Much to consider for sure.
