I have tried just once to do a juniper here in Central Florida and it just died on me and I have no clue why that was. Do they do well in Central Florida? Is about six hours of full sun enough?

Junipers can take full sun all day. Just keep the substrate free flowing and moist. They cannot tolerate their roots in standing water.

Dunno if you lost it just recently — but I’ve been having to water & re-water, because it’s been so dry AND breezy here for such a long stretch — and I probably have an advantage, because I’m using deeper pots for now. (Also at home, to keep checking & checking.)
