Any pic from this year, preferably defoliated?

Best,
Dorothy

Dorothy that is the same tree as in the other thread you suggested that I "air layer".

No worries Dorothy as I know that poor little tree has been through a whole of changes!

A Question about nebari

Thanks for the progression….what a nice looking tree. I was impressed by the nebary development, especially between years 2 and 3. Did you to anything special to develop the trunk flre and nebari besides repotting and pruning? I have just started five ficus benjamina and have them in deep pots for trunk development right now. I wonder if I should be doing anything to help devop the taper and nebari at this point.

Thank you. I feed it a lot of Vitamin B-1 + Hormone root shock stimulant when it was young and after each and every repotting. I slowly began to expose the nebari and lower trunk by raising the tree up at every re-potting. The exposed roots seem to like to swell up on ficus here in humid Siam... too much in my case as I have had to hack away quite a bit of the nebari that over grew and have some more hacking to do here shortly.

You did see the continued progression to 2013 in the second thread? If not take a look.
