Progression of a collected Larch

I collected this tree in 2015, there is a photo of it from 2016. I spent a lot of time wondering if I should keep the left "fork" or the right "fork". As you can see by the pictures I went with the right which was against the majority of the recommendations I got on bonsainut. I think the left could have turned out nice as well. I changed the angle and repotted it this spring. Larch look so bright and beautiful this time of year.DSC_5122.JPGIMG_2170.JPG

Haha if you look close it’s there. This one is even cracked.
We really should get together sometime. Next time I think I'm going that way I'll p.m. you for a number so I can call and make it happen.
I'll show you some Scots pine areas over by Mancelona. I think there's a place by Kalkaska too. I'll need to wrack my brain.
