... and this how it went on with my thuja_3.
Another "zero-Dollar-projekt".
The tree had been a skip-rat ...
I mean, it had been kind of waste of my garden-cleaning.-

In 2019 total regaining and shoot-cutting
and overhauling/refining of the primitiv carvings ...

Rather a sketch at that stage ...

Vance, Dennis, thank you, gentlemen!
Dennis,
the carvings are (imho) not fine enough yet,
but will be in the near future ...

foliage comes with time first the base must be set it would be a waste to build the pads on a wrong base
also the Deadwood if you let nature do its thing from here on each year it will get more detailed by the time the pads filled in the deadwood Will look much older too

Yessss Dennis!
Your statement seems very, very true to me.
Weathering, by letting the time work on our trees
is something that man can not replace by craftsmanship ...

Okay, now I gotta go look at the two thuja I have in the back yard. My partner keeps swearing that they have to go. I don’t disagree, but I dread digging them out. Maybe if I can use them as material the prospect isn’t so grim...

Really though. I starting picking up these Thuja Occidentalis “Degroots spire” from nurseries and just love the Great little foliage. You should check out the variety on google. I’m pretty intrigued with arborvitae and cypress at the moment.

Or maybe this tree is hiding in one of your backyard monsters?? Could be a perfect fit for a dragon pot. 😉

If he wants them out, surely he can help? But personally, not a fan. Have to be an awesome trunk!!! Keep trying!

Well, I feel ashamed, but to be honest:
Bad, really bad is this particiular tree this year so far ...
There had been a severe frost-damage in spring.
The Thuja did not really recover untill now ...
Sorry, bad ...
