I picked up a Carmona (Fukien tea) a couple months ago.
Its doing really well after I repotted into some in-organic bonsai soil (akadama/lava rock)
Its been pushing lots of new growth and flowering nicely.
I've noticed of the couple months I've had it that it has a few crossing branches that id like to remove.
I know how awkward these trees can be, hence why I'm here.
Does anyone have any experience with these and when is best to prune.
Cheers

Light pruning of those awkward branches is ok on a healthy tree any time. Limit heavy pruning to warmest season.
