In my field I am growing out a few Fuji Cherries. The biggest one last year sprouted a rootsucker. In spring I chopped the root from the main plant. And yesterday when I was going though a cleanup run, I decided to pull the sucker. Clipped the roots, popped a wire on it and chucked it in a pot. I did not wire too strongly as it is not settled yet and it is winter. Lets see where this goes.

Cheers to flowers!
To be honest, in all those years I have never been to the field when it was flowering. So I do not know. But I presume a light pink, like they show them in the advertisements!

Looks like lots of nice buds, and I like the overall proportion. You could well be on your way to a very nice semi- or full cascade. Best of luck!
