They certainly do start off quick, does this one flower for you yet?
It hasn’t yet, but I assume they all will at some point. I don’t know if they’re male or female and some bloom while others don’t...?

Owen told me that the cutting grown ones will flower sooner than seed ones.

Just about 5 weeks later, and it’s time to break out the weed-eater on this thing...

After this round, it will be pruned back once more in another month, and then pruned again after leaf-drop.

Brian,
When you're cutting back the new growth how many pairs of leaves are you cutting back to?
Usually 2; 1 in the stronger areas. It doesn’t reliably bud at both nodes though. I’m eager to see it leafless and see if it made any progress the year!
