anyone know of a source for pumice and lava cinders in CT in the (lower)fairfield county area

I dont know of any, and believe me I have looked for a source of pumice in the NY, NJ, CT area that doesnt require me to remortgage my house to buy. The only place I know of for Lava is that Beam Clay place in northwest NJ.

If you do find a place in CT, please be sure to post about it!

i found out that coopers mulch in danbury(by the airport)has black lava listed on there website as a bagged material described as:"a porous black rock commonly used in pond applications, can also be used for decorative purposes" i got the feeling it's on the large side

i drive by there every now and than so i'm gonna stop in and check it out
