Pyracantha the 3rd

I love pyracanthas and I am working on several.

I am opening this post after the proposition of October on another thread of mine
http://bonsainut.com/forums/showthread.php?7571-Pyracantha-from-air-layer since I feel that the proposed virtual fits much more this little guy

So here it is, as it was when I first got it and then after pruning

I do agree that the virt for the other pyra would also match this one.. However, I think that the other one will give you an older looking more powerful tree. I like the first pic after pruning for the front. Either way, both pyracanthas should be a lot of fun to grow out. Especially the other one. Since you would be creating a whole new bonsai sitting on top of a trunk and then air layering it off. The great thing is that the pot possibilities with the other one are endless.
