So pondering removing some foliage that hangs below the shelf it sits on for a tidier look. But it looks healthy for sure. Still undecided...Your thoughts on the matter? Do ones...shape their ferns... ?

I shape my landscape ferns like people scape palm trees; cut the old foliage off and build a trunk.

Our 20+ year old specimens are about a foot tall.

Very cool...these never get a trunk they shed their frongs. And each comes off one of the rabbit feet. So no way to build a trunk. But cool...

I was advised elsewhere to set it on a upside down pot to allow it to be fuller and have room to do what it wants. Will see if I like that...if not I will most likely prune it.
