Does anyone else have any experience with rain lilies?
This little one is the first that I have put in to a pot (they grow very freely in both standing water and regular soil) and I am very pleased with it.
They come from small bulbs which readily reproduce. Cold hardy as well.
The name comes from the fact that they tend to send up a flower after it rains (spring through summer.)

The thing that makes me happy the most about this particular one is that normally the flowers shoot up about 8"+ but as you can see this one only went up about half that. This eliminates their tendency to tip after watering/rain.

Anyhow, have a look.
*Note - we've already moved in to our cold weather but on hot spring/summer days the petals open all the way.
