Hi Everyone

What do you think of this azalea as a future bonsai?, I got it real cheap at a nursery , the "crossing trunks" convinced me, actually im letting it grow since its spring in my country.

What should i do after this growing season, what's the course of accion with this kind of plant?

Thanks!

Take a look on youtube for John Geanangel. (Hope I spelled it right John). He has a video on nursery azaleas. I'm thinking this will probably be shohin. This spring I would try to ground layer some of the higher roots on the base. Plant it a little deeper in the pot when you repot it and chop it back to a few stubs.

Thanks for the tips, what would be a nice soil mix for this tree?, since regular azaleas needs acid soil, i was wonderings about the soil composition for bonsai azaleas.

Thanks
