UPDATED PHOTOS

Recently got this very attractive olive from a Facebook bonsai auction. Ive been really drawn to the bark and leaves of the olea family so this was a must have for me. I know that keeping it happy in our short summers might be a challenge soi will be looking into artificial lighting for a boost now and then. It looks incredible in my living room but will need to go into a fridge for storage for the rest of the winter this afternoon.

I'm waiting on info from the seller on the exact species but I believe it's europaea

Kinda of looks good with lots of potential. Picture is a bit dark to tell much. Just what specific "olive" is it? Need that for folks to be able to help you with how to keep it alive and thrive.

Stay warm.

I have an olive here in Ohio, I don't give it a dormant period, and it's fine with that. I have it in a sunny window over winter, with a regular shop fluorescent fixture for the cloudy winter weather we have here. It grows all winter. Mine is EU olive if that helps.
