We had about 60 trees this year, some years we've had as many as a 100. We ween't able to get our normal date, June the first, so of the D trees were a little brown around the edges, another reason to keep it green:D. We had a pretty good turnout despite it being 98 degrees out side. Approximately 250 folks showed up.

keep it green,
Harry

My SUV was full and I didn't want to make two trips, same reason I only showed 5 trees.....:p My Ponderosa is on a stand.

Blah blah blah....lol At least the pretty pondy was on a stand, though it seems a might small, but that may just be the photograph ;)

I didn't realize that one was yours. :)

It's very nice! I wouldn't kick that tree of my bench. :D

Good job Harry, some nice trees. Nice to have that neutral back ground as well.

Here's a better picture of the Ponderosa. I bought it from Colen Lewis.

Hay I just figured something out. If maples grow in OKC , Callies won't. I couldn't grow a maple if I was paid too. Course there's a lot of things I couldn't do if I was paid too.

BTW , nice show. Your Cal/Shimp looks great !

Thanks. Some varities do ok, others look like crap in July and August, one reason I gave up on D trees.
keep it green,

The D trees look nice! Harry, I know you like Juni's but the elms and maples are a completely different flavor. Think of it as steak and pork - steak being the D trees of course. Nothing wrong with pork. You can't beat a good Iowa chop!

But , but , but .....steak is BAD for you....causes corrinary artery disease. Now John Naka and Harry Hirro were/are both juniper freaks and they are/were in their 90's still messin with trees.
