Repeating the same arguement over and over

So it seems we keep repeating the same arguement/discussion to various degrees about the Karaoke Bar, political discussions, freedom of speech etc over and over.

I just have to wonder why?
To those that continue to bring it up, What are you hoping to accomplish if anything?
Are you hoping to get the bar reinstated at some level?
Are you so affronted that you can't argue over politics that you just can't stand not to argue?
Do you just want to be able to troll those that disagree?

Is anyone else just getting sick and tired of the discussion?

Just curious.

It's a curious thing, as there are other bonsai sites with similar off-topic areas, but rarely, if ever, do I see politics come up in those forums...

All due respects my friend if you are seriously bumbed out about this issue why bring it up? It's kind of like complaining about how bad a dead body smells by digging one up to demonstrate the truth of your point. To answer your question: Is anyone else sick and tired of the discussion?--- they will stop posting. The truth is most people are not sick of these kinds of discussion or they would just go away. They in fact get some sort of vicarious thrill out of the controversy. Again I said this earlier: It is like pornography. Few will admit to liking Porn and will claim outrage if it is posted on this site but they won't complain until they have had a chance to check it out; one of the few times some people will not respond till after looking themselves as opposed to following the reaction of others.

Take a look at the track life of the last two threads compared to everything on this flaccid part of the forum.
