Thank you. I keep mine in water too but I'm having problems with growth turning orange and then brown. I've been keeping it out of the tub and watering twice a day depending on the rain. Hoping to see the new growth stay green going into "winter".

You may have an "early sleeper". At my last place, I had 17 BC in the yard and in the edge of the bayou behind the house. Every year, one or two would go brown almost a month before the others. But in spring, they would green up before the rest of them.

Everything I wired held.
Can't wait to cut back and wire again when leaves turn rust colored.
I'm very pleased with the progress of this tree. It really came from behind and lapped all my other trees in a short time.
Next year it will get a better pot.
