This is a cool idea for a pot, no worries about the wind!

At what time of year are these repotted? I'm guessing April since you're in the NE as well and this post was from around then, but figured I'd ask in case it could be treated with a midsummer repot like a tropical. My guess is no, since my understanding is that it's Bill Valavanis who popularized them in the bonsai community and he's up in Rochester.
